Yes it was shortly after we pitched bags of money. The plane was a write off.

I've slept beside that thing a few times while hiking around, sweet area, good place to find moose sheds, that shale scramble besides it is sure sketchy in the spring.

Default York Creek

I believe 7 guys died in this crash, military dakota if I remember right, been there numorous times, bike quad even once had my truck close, have taken a few elk out of that area.

The aircraft is a Douglas DC-3 (Dakota) that crashed in January 1946 killing all seven crewmen

nope, try ridin a dirt bike up that shale.. up top from the plane is a lake.. at the bridge down below, by the creek, if you ride /drive up the trail to the first lake, there is a 250$ pair of shades at the bottom of that lake, the bogs at thunder in the valley are pretty good if yadont mind sittin on the side of a hill drinkin beer all day.. kinda gets dangerous.....lol

Visit this site; http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM114, took some of the pictures a couple of years ago when we took our quads up there. Was up there again this year but no new pictures.
