Can sure tell it's Sunday. First light this morning we caught 4 -yeah, 4- shooter bull elk sniffing around a nearby elk farmer's fence. Any other day of the week, it's a done deal. They WALKED across the road right in front of the truck, hopped a fence and ambled across a wide open quarter to the bush. A real nice 5X5 was the best one but all legal 3+ points. My antlerless tag opens tomorrow and the buddy with me had time to show all 4 of them his bull tag!
