Q5. Do the licensing and registration requirements apply to bows?

A5. Crossbows that can be aimed and fired with one hand and crossbows with an overall length of 500 mm or less are prohibited. You cannot lawfully possess or acquire a prohibited crossbow.

It can technically still be fired with 1 hand and looks to be made to be fired with 1 hand since it does not have a buttstock. Since it states 1 handed AND those under 500mm are prohibited instead of using OR it would still be illegal.

Unless you want to go with the cocking lever on the back is meant to be placed on the shoulder.

Because it's a pistol it can be easily concealed... Imagine the damage some psycho could do sneaking that into a school...

Thank goodness we have so many laws to protect us.

During the 1980,s there were several murders in the Greater Vancouver area , gangland type executions , seems the handheld crossbows worked well No sounds of gunshots,

Of coarse during the 80,s anti Gun Mania was rampant, so were weapons prohibitions,,,,

Look how well prohibiting hand held crossbows worked !

This was long previous to box cutter wielding sickos hijacking planes and hitting skyscrapers and dirt bags lopping off people's heads with jack knives, on Greyhound Busses or TV and UTube,,,
