Default peep size

I would say the 3/16" is probably the most popular for people that shoot 3-D and hunt. As long as you can see the ring on your scope to center it in the peep it should help with your accuracy.

For Hunting I suggest the 1/4...due to light transmission...cant see it low light at prime times with small peeps...and better visual of target...

I dont use a peep...did 35 years ago...but dont for above reasons...

I have guided hunters that couldnt see thru smaller peeps in evening legal light in a blind..

I shot the 1/4 peep for about a month then switched to the 3/16. Shooting much better with the 3/16 and it still collects tons of light.

I don't have a peep on my hunting bow either. I'm with Neil on this one.

keeping in mind that every shooter is different, some can see in the dark like a cat while others have to wait to noon to take a leak just to see it...lol

I use 1/4 inch peep for my Trophy Ridge V5. TR recommends the 1/4 inch peep.
