Cabelas HUGE BLOW OUT SALE
Guys Cabelas has a GIANT blow out sale. $100+ rods for $20 to $40.
Electronics are being blown out at ridiculous pricing. Like 1/4 to 1/3 of sticker price. Rapalas are dirt cheap $4. Too many things to list.
The sale is all across Canada. Apparently it has something to do with the merger with Bass Pro.

Bought Rapala TDD 11's for 2.88$ and 4.88$ they usually run 16.99$ a piece. They were putting out sale tags when I was there. I believe it's an in store liquidation of some items to make room for new sku's, in relation to their recent change in ownership.

Some boots are on serious discount, we got my wife some Cabela's / Merrel hikers for $30. I grabbed two 88 cent Cabela's BBQ aprons for woodshop duty.

In Edmonton the sale varies in terms of available product between the two stores. As an example the SW store had a good selection on fly rods that were on sale (all gone) and no line. The NE store still had (as of 5pm today) lot's of quality fly line on for $9.98 but nothing for fly rods. SW was sold out on some gun cleaning supplies and while the NW store had lot's on the shelves.

Checked them out today. Was looking for a half decent reel for the wife and found one for almost half price. If you are looking for some 1000 model ultra light reels there was some amazing deals on nice quality. Middle of the road and down not so much. Some cheap combos and saw some nice deals on electronics but like always check the details as some were missing some of the features you want even though they were well priced. Buyer beware! Only spent $50 so wasn't a great shopping day but wife was happy with a new reel so bonus.

Was at Cabela's in Calgary this morning, no such thing as a huge blow out happening there. Yes there are some bargains if you go in the little off room, fly rods and line and an assortment of broken stuff, but that's it. I asked the clerk if there were in store specials because of the Bass Pro buy out, and he said not that he was aware of only the weekly flyer.

Southside Edmonton store had Fenwick Nighthawk w/Pfleuger reel, I think they were on for $44.99 (reg $59.99) right as you come in the door and I believe a couple others in the fishing section.
Sorry, not a clearance special, it's in their flyer.

Thanks for your post. Saved me a trip and probably a few $$bucks$$. If I would have got there and no sale on I would have probably bought something to justify the trip.

All the discounted RCBS items, bullets, and reloading books were gone from the NE Edmonton store. There were some Lee dies/items when I was there this am. I didn’t inquire about powder.

I was at the Cabelas in Edmonton today. There pricing on everything was awesome picked up a 1HP meat grinder for the price of the 3/4 HP. As well there jerky cutter attachment was 50% off. Money to be saved

I was in the Calgary store last night. I got a travel sleeve for my fly rod for $27 rather than $45. I was looking for some reloading stuff but not a huge selection and nothing I wanted.
The wife did get a nice Under Armour hoody for $20. That was all we got.
