Got out there today, 18" of ice, drove everywhere, fishing sucked.

I was at Skeleton last week, it also sucked. I'm hoping it was a moon phase and not because it's fished out.

It's been pretty cold with blue bird skies. I'm sure it'll get better

Don't know where you were fishing, but I was there yesterday had a terrific day non stop action at least 15 pike all small though, biggest about 60 cm. A few nice eyes even tagged one for supper having trouble catching them small enough to fit in the 43-50 cm. slot , walleye seem to be doing very good in the lake. All fish looked healthy. Group next to me were catching all day as well.

Don't waste your time there. Very slow for perch, Walleye are doing great , eating them out of house and home.
