Smile Halloween...

So how many how many trick-or-treaters did you guys get tonight?
I stop handing out candy and 125 kids I took my bowl of treats to the neighbor and gave them to the neighbors to hand out and I went with my son at that point and we went out from there.
The neighbors reported somewhere in the tune of about 250 kids tonight.
we had one injury in your neighborhood and adult tripped over the curb and fell knocked herself unconscious her head open fire and ems had to respond but I did not see any problems with any of the kids everybody was so well behaved and had a lot of fun some great costumes were out there.

3 years running not one trick or treater! The kids did well by going into town and I am 3/4 the way through a bottle of Spiced Captain and just finished my Halloween tradition of watching Bram Stokers Dracula and am catching the Oil getting beaten up by those buggers from Calgary!

First time in 6 years we didn't hand out candy.
A pipe burst in the basement, so I have spent the day dealing with that.
Our neighbors only got 85 kids.

I got 4 kids tonight, which seems to be about average in the community I live in. On warmer years, like last year, more show up. It was chilly tonight, getting down near 0 degrees celsius.

Zero. Slept till 3:45, walked the dog for a half hour and left at 5:15. Probably would have made little difference if I were home all night.

It was rather warm in Calgary tonight most of the kids were not dressed up overly warm Stinky only need to wear a warm sweater out instead of a winter jacket this year to do his trick-or-treating so that was a major bonus for us.
I just were spring jacket when I was out with him instead of having to bundle up so it wasn't bad at all I think it was like six or 7° out last night so confirm plane

I grew up in Sundance, I remember lineups to the street at most houses. Started to taper off before we left though (around 2004), nice to know it has picked back up

We're in Southwood now, maybe 10 or 15 kids?

I still can't get over how warm this Halloween was. My builder had the sprinkler on his newly sodded lawn yesterday!!!

We moved here in 2001. All the Halloween's I remember were always cold and snowy. One year the fog machine wouldn't work on our patio as it was -30. Another year, the little guy slipped on some ice and hurt his tailbone. But it seemed every year had snow and freezing temperatures. The one year we took the kids trick or treating at West Edmonton Mall, and I thought how cool that was, being able to wear any costume and not have to cover it up with a snow suit!! It just seemed the norm to expect temps in the minuses and snow everywhere.

Maybe there really IS global warming?!!

We only had maybe 25 kids.

Not sure how many kids are in our hood, but we had to go out, was talking to the neighbour and he didn't know either, what they did is just put a bowl of candy outside (like a self feeder) with a sign ot it "trick or treat" only 2 please or you fingers will be chopped off. but the bowl was empty by morning.

I guess this is becoming the norm, just put a self feeder outside your door.

I had zero, but wasn't expecting any.

Those with kids I talk with at work said that they were taking their kids to the malls because it was safer.

My neighbourhood is full of kids, but a lot are of other ethnicities so barely any houses are decorated.

I've seen more adults dressed up this year than kids.

32 in glenbow area. Seems typical. I was hoping my policy of giving every kid 10+ candies would draw more

As parents came to the door with their children most of them were in costumes when I took stinky out I noticed that a lot of the people when he went to the door wearing costumes I think the funniest one had to be Ernie asking him where bert was and he would not give stinky any candy until he told him where Bert was we came to the conclusion that Bert was in a bar somewhere getting drunk. Ernie was quite upset about that last night so if anybody has seen bert please return him to Ernie because Ernie is desperate to get bert back

Just shy of 50 and that is the most in 15+ years. Older neighbourhoods don't generally bring lots of kids.
