Hope ya like leupold, as most guys running lightweights will use them. The 2.5-8x36 seem popular. I've got 2 on factory m700 mtn rifles and it's a nice set up but not really a fan.
Swarovski is a nicer option in the 3-9x36.

If your really worried about weight put your cartridges in your pocket and by bigger scope and your gun will weigh about the same!

Trades I would interested in:
- Sightron rifle scopes, 4.5x14x42mm or 4x16x42mm
especially! with the HHR reticle. (no duplex pls.)
- older 6x fixed scopes with fine X or target dot.

The VXII ultralights are no longer made, if you want one, grab one if you can find it.

The VX3 2.5-8x36 would be my choice, but as someone stated, at sensible ranges, the FXII 4x would be adequate and be your lightest choice.

These or a fixed 6x FXII would be your best options I think. Plenty of used ones around if you want to save a little.
