Antler Plaques

I've been looking for an antler plaque for awhile. Does anyone build them close to Rocky or Red Deer? I'm pretty terrible with woodworking. It is a euro elk and I planned to use a skull hooker, however where I want to hang it is directly between two studs.

You can also just take a piece of weathered barn board, not shaping required a screw to that they look pretty good.
