Cool wild horse lake out of hinton

anyone catch brookies out of this lake ,,i tried twice last spring and twice this spring no luck if you did iwould appreciate a tip or some advice,,id swear it had hard winter kill it was so dead,,i seen fisheries stock it once afew years ago they say they stock it quite often ,,if so where are the fish

I heard kinky was never stocked this year do to a netting and large numbers (the lake just before) as far as wildhorse my dad just pulled a 7lb brown out of there last weekend, not sure if there are any brook trout in there but kinky is full.

Default wildhorse lakes

Wildhorse1 has rainbows and browns, wildhorse2 has brookies and kinky is brookies as well.

iwas refering to wild horse 2 about brookies there ,,they say water level is caused by oil well drilliig if so may keep going lower to bad

Default gas wells

There are no wells in the area. These lakes are spring fed and I think the springs are drying up. I dont know what the water table is doing world wide but I do know that a lot of lakes in Alberta are well below what they used to be.

the west is dryin up could be worst than the dirted thirthy lots of dead trees about now starting to show up from last year..............not good
