A few days ago Bobby Orr was asked if the Bruins of '71 could beat this years Oilers ?
-I think we could beat them 1-0 Orr said
-Not by a bigger margin the reporter asked ??
-Nah , most of us are in our 70's now.

It’s much harder to win 12 games in a row than a Stanley cup. Every year someone wins a cup………..
Therefore whatever happens this year, oilers are the best team in the league this year.
The parade is tomorrow.

Incredible run of hockey games. Top to bottom, they've been excellent, and it all starts with goaltending. Stu has been unreal lately.
I know a loss is inevitable, but can the hockey gords just extend the streak by at least one more game. Please!
P.S. You know the Oilers are rolling when this thread goes totally quiet...

We sure do. Hockey is never better than when the BOA is meaningful. Flames got royally shafted on the tying goal last night.
