Default Info on the Freeman river campground

I'm looking at the seasonal lot up at the Freeman river campground. If any of you have stayed their or have spent a weekend their i'm wondering how you found the sites and or feed back.

Thanks in advance Gordon

Been a few years, but I don't recall anything bad about it. Nice treed sites, no services (I think they had some firewood there). Might have been one or two other trailers there at the time. (pretty sure it was during the week) I think it was $15 a night.

Freeman Lake campground was pretty much the same.

I know that a lot of the sites used to taken up by people from Swan Hills who would rent them on a year round basis to both camp at and to have a storage place for their RV's.

It has probably changed now with the slowdown in the oil industry which hit Swan Hills pretty hard.

I think if you can afford it and there are sites available you might want to get it because if things get busy the sites will be in demand again.

Stayed there a few times, just tenting and it's a nice campground, friendly owners.

You may want to call them though, they lost some sites from the Freeman flooding, fair amount of erosion occurred.
