So I love Ultra Light Rods. No stores stock them past 5’6 and I wanted a 7’ for trout. So after searching all I could find in stock was a Daiwa KAGE. So I got it.
It was more than I wanted spend, alMost triple what others wanted. But again nothing was in stock.
Now the new shimano sensilite’s are in as well as okuma sst and celilio are all in stock over at sail.ca and all for 3x less than the Daiwa KAGE.
I know the Daiwa is a “better” rod but you can’t go wrong with the okuma and I feel a bit funny fishing for trout with a $225 rod.
