Default WestJet or Air Canada

I fly AC all the time and don’t have nearly the issues that others do it seems. When I have issues it’s usually with WestJet.

I honestly think it’s a Ford/Chevy/Dodge thing. Everyone has their preference and their horror stories about the other.

Biggest thing is to look for a direct flight. Connections are where bags get lost. If you can, do everything in a carry on. Not only do you not need to worry about getting a bag lost, you also don’t have to wait at the carousel for it after the flight. Walk off the plane and right out the terminal. Keep in mind that all liquids and gels need to be in a clear plastic bag and under 100ml each for security.

I’m actually sitting in Toronto at the moment and had zero issues getting here the last couple months, despite what you see on the news.

Oh, and I avoid Calgary airport if at all possible. If I have any bag problems (which is rare) it happens in Calgary.
