You can't win when you can't score boy's, I'm sure you know that by now, 39 shots and nothing to show for it

Default Not best two players in world

The Oilers have the best player in the world period in 97.29 is not the second best.He is a one way power play merchant who consistently puts his hands up in the air like a kid in Atom hockey blaming others as he skates with cement in his ass to come back and help in his own end.Minus two again tonight and on for the shorty and we only lost 3 to 0.I have said it for 4 years he will never be a winner in Edmonton. Good ridance to him when his contract is up.There are way better team players out there than him to say he is number two in the world what a joke.

Agreed. Jaded Oiler fans will see it differently and they will ride and die with the Kraut. I have been saying for awhile to trade this one dimensional asset for some real depth. Every year it’s ground hog day in Oil Country with the same ol same old. They both will be high up in the scoring race but with no tangible team success. But hey as long as we are all entertained….

Sincerely,
Eeyore

According to this, he's one of the worst players on the team at 5v5.

Something changed, maybe he's hurt, maybe it's attitude, maybe it's something in the room, maybe it's just early and he'll come around, no idea.

People might call me crazy, but I think a Draisaitl for Horvat swap would be a home run for Edmonton.

Going to be a tough season though if Kane is gone for months and Leon is one of the worst players on the team at 5v5.

Quite the comeback today! Young guns brought it. The vets finished it.

We have short memory. Six months ago, oilers were in final 4. Leon was big part of that big push. No I don’t support a trade. This team will have its up/down, like every other team. Last year lost all of Dec, Jan. This team is suffering some key injuries. Expect them to Gel as team next couple months. They are in good position to move up. Have faith.

Was processing our last deer with the game turned up. Pretty awesome comeback! Nothing like a come from behind victory to up those confidence levels amongst the team.
Woodcroft and his coaching staff did well with those coaches challenges as well. Nicely done Oil!

The team needs to Gel when they have made no major moves? Make some moves on defense, that will go alot further than you think

If the reason the oilers are losing is because of Leon then they might as well mail the season in. Then again if you think that you might need to wash your glasses. If you were to trade him 30 teams would be in the line up.

Agreed. I don't really know how you can justify trading a 1.5 ppg guy where that's considered a slump. He's never had much issue in 5v5 play before as noted in that article about his EVP/60 being elite level over the 500 some games prior. His salary is pretty darn cheap too.

Kane being out really hurts them, more than people tend to think

One crappy bounce has us down 1 - 0 so far though it's a pretty even game

Draisaitl for Horvat would be worse than Tkachuk for Huberdeau, and thats saying a lot.
