Is that from the warthog? Only thought ticks were a North American thing. Wouldnt have thought they were in africa. Got any pics of any other creepy crawlies?

Eastern cape was crawling in ticks last year. They arnt the same as here but can make you sick for a few days. Namibia didn't have near as many but you still had to be carefull while posing for pics and loading.

2 ticks on my Impala.

Look at the brisket on the Kudu. There were a bunch on there as well. They had eaten the skin to a thick chunky callus.

The Warthogs I killed were full of them as well.

Gross!!

Its my bush buck.

This is my warthog belly. A couple of ticks are quite noticeable. Others not so much, I think there are 4 different types visible. What looks like dirt in the pores of its skin are clusters of a tick/flea/louse that are unique to warthogs.
