Default Heads up when hunting 400

If you are planning on hunting the Lynx Creek area in 400 be aware that this boy and his siblings are roaming around the road. Got 15 min of pictures and there were fresh tracks in the area of 2 other bears. I'm thinking that it might be the triplets that my son got pictures of on his game cam last year. BE AWARE. Picture was taken on Oct 29 at midday.

I hunt that area lots and our group is always running into grizzly bears. we have seen them in the lynx, carbondale and lost creek over the last several years. I even know of two guys that were charged by a sow in sept in the racehorce creek area.

Yes nice and healthy followed him as he rooted around on the edge of the road. Didn't give a damn that I was there.

My guess would be that it's a sow. Nice to see them around.

Default thanks for the heads up

I'm heading there tonight to collect my whitetail burger. Good to know their 'fer sure' in the area.... adds extra interest for me and the kids.

I'll post if I see em tonight.
