Default hayseed connects....

So I posted on my sons first buck this year a bit back...a nice 4 pt whitey with pics, a great buck, especially for a first deer and being 12 yrs old.....,and I have been hearing about how the bragging rights are gonna " go down " this year...

I'm like son..... the best 2 wks of season, are yet to come. He replies with ?? Yup... thats someting theys left out in the hunter training course eh?.. heh..heh... We've seen our share of deer, passed on some, blew some stalks on good ones, and at the end of the day, no regrets. If this is just the start of our father and son hunting future, well, until next year...

Sooooo.... his buck..( still awesome buddy.. congrats again..)

and finally...the old mans....

Both of our well deserved trophy's...

Many miles and trails, always with good company..thanks pal.

Right on...I can't wait till next year when me and my son get to actually hunt together! I've guided in the past for non residents and I'm going to put every effort into it to make sure his hunt is just as memorable! I love the fact these kids can start at age 12. I am just not sure what caliber to get him?

Congrats on great deer, and great memories to be sure.! I got to go with my son and grandson last year. Was a blast having the g-son show me how to do it, and memories I treasure. He's too busy with school and extra curric this year so it will just by my son and I next week. Can't wait to make more memories.

Thx for the kind words fellas, words just cant describe the feeling out there with my boy, and for him to put one on the ground with all the confindence of someone who is a veteren hunter. Thinking back to all the right things my Dad taught me when I was young, and for me to have a chance to pass it on down, makes me extremely proud. Its now come full circle.

Tree, I hear ya man, just dont rush it... it goes by so quickly..., enjoy it all you can, and have fun!!
