Perch in McGregor

I was thinking of going to Mcgregor this weekend to get some perch for the first time .
I have a few questions how deep of water do I fish and how big are they in there.and how to catch perch in general just one or two tips

I never saw perch was landed either summer or winter at McGregor Lake within recent 2 years 2009-2010

Same here that's why I was going to tryto go this week Maby I will just stick to pike and walleyY

There are perch to be caught but they are small, however, having said that a fishing buddy has caught some jumbos in there but never regularly or consistently. We caught ours in the stretch between the causeway and the dam at the travers end in 23-25 FOW.
