Fishing aroung Elk Point/BonnyVille/Camrose

due to work, I can only make it as far as Bonnyville for tomorrow, just wondering if anybody had any suggestions of good lakes in the area, the most southern ones would be better as my drive is already quite long for a day of fishing, haha.

i was thinking mabye Long lake, near Frog lake, or mabye something near Elk point. How is the winter fishing in Coal lake, or Dried meat lake, near Camrose? Or would it just be a safer bet to go the extra 30 minutes to Moose lake??

Any tips greatly appreciated!! I just want to take my girlfriend out for some good action, not necessarly trophy's.
