Default Commonwealth Games drops shooting and archery

This has been in the works for a while, and is totally disgusting!
With all of the BS going around right now in NZ and the PETA thread in the trapping forum I decided to post this as well.
Some members of the India NRA are calling for a Boycott and I would totally support any Canadian shooting doing the same.

I have watched then slowing being erred since I was a kid.
I doubt if it will be long now before they are gone
When Gerry Ouellete broke the world smallbore record ( incidentally called the “ English Match” in 1956 at Melbourne , he was presented with a model 70 Winchester when he got back home to Windsor Ontario .
Like anything like that would happen today!

I am personally for the events that have a defined winner: by time, accuracy, distance, score etc... not not by some political and subjective scoring system.

I fully understand the athleticism of a gymnast or a figure skater just not the way they determine a winner.

People have also been pointing out that it gives incentive to gun bans, as the types of guns that have been used in the games are no longer needed for recognized international shooting events.
