Default Jack’s 270

Some here will find this of interest. I correspond regularly with Chet (mentioned in the post) and a couple other guys and he had emailed photos of Jack O’connor’s 270 on his scales Sunday. I wasn’t going to mention anything but I see it is now public as you can see in John Barsness’s thread in the link. Some may find this of zero interest but there are some that might.

Default Jack's .270

I had the good fortune to hold Jack's .270 and his wife Elenor's 7x57 Mauser down at the WSF Sheep Show in Reno in 2017. The lady "manning" the booth for the O'Connor Museum from Idaho actually encouraged me to handle them and took my photo with each on my iPhone. Quite a treat to say the least! And they had two dandy rams on display that Jack had taken as well.
