3 pics with a block well before the season is open, nothing wrong with that.

I didn't say he was baiting, I just remember the **** show on another thread of people trying to say a mineral lick in any season was baiting.... which I don't believe as I always put out minerals in the spring as well

I could care less if you hunt a salt block with a rifle for deer really. Be my guest. You won't have much success if you tried. They quit using them before the hunting season starts. You don't see any pics of me with velvet deer do you..... or any of them hanging on my wall either.....
And these pics were from years and years ago....
There is not one of these deer that is alive I would bet anymore. I havn't had a camera out for about 6 years or more. Kinda miss it after going through some pics yesterday and today was all. Thought I would throw a few up.

nice pics , nice models , ... only time when I don't mind them being male models

On a side note , a question ( probably a stupid question to a lot of you ) , but I sorry , I don't know , ... when the camera takes a shot when its dark out , does the lite flash for the shot , or does it stay on for a couple of seconds , pre and post actual photo ?

It seems to me , I see photos that look like both ways a possibility , hence I would assume that would be a setting option .

and if so , what would be pro/cons ... other than battery use

They have no glow flash on most decent cams now. You don't see a light emit at all.

the flashes don't spook the animals , that seems strange to me , I wonder if its something they just get used to , ... maybe while hunting this year , I'll wear a headlight that strobes ,... maybe they'll think ... photographer and not hunter

Thanks
