Default Touchwood lake trout?

Pulled up a map today that showed that late 80's they stocked the lake with lakers... I'm assuming it wasn't successful? Anyone have any info

Historically touchwood had lakers native to the waters. Lesser slave lake as well.

Doesnt matter whats in the lake, still one of the nicest campgrounds around imo. Been tring to catch the spawn up the creek in the camp but have always missed. Im looking forward to trying again!

They did stock the lake in the 80's but they did not catch on as the original lakers that were native to the lake were able to adapt to water with a lower oxygen content than lakers in say Cold lake. I had a full disclosure email from FWL at one time that had the stocking reports along with the condition of the lake itself, for some reason the lake has historically lower oxygen values in comparison to other lakes. That is what was explained to me any way...
