Talking Sled

I haven't but I just bought a 2014 Tundra 600ACE and it seems to be a great sled... given the fact that I don't have enough snow to ride on make it hard to say for sure though.

I was wondering the same thing though... what other options are out there besides the skandic and tundra? are they any better?

Ski doo line of utility sleds is the golden standard.
There is a reason you see so many BRP sleds up north
in the arctic and in the forest of northen Canada.

I just got a new Skandic 600 ACE. Man do I love it!!! I rode my Skandic 550F the other day and was ready to cut a hole in the ice and sink the thing by the time I was done with it.
That ACE is a real nice ride and you don't stink and you can actually hear yourself think unlike riding a 550 F

Ya it's great. The only thing that bugs me with that new sled is how tippy it is. I can't imagine what it would be like with a Tundra. I have had my machine on it's side a few times and was shocked and not expecting it when it happened lol

It's because there's no snow yet Phil. Once it's a little deeper it's totally different. Once you learn to transfer your weight while ridding its night and day as well, took me awhile but after you get used to it they are very mobile.

Did't you have an older skandic, the 550F is the current 2016 model.

Yup I think your right Jim now you mention it. Either way it still sucks. Lots of power on it but a hard ride for sure. Stinky and noisy. Thinking of selling it but need a second one in case something breaks down or I have a friend come.

Hopefully marten prices will be 400$ a piece this year so I can buy another sled lol
