Default Rattle or doe bleat?

Just curious what you all prefer. Especially this time of the hunting season?

Default both

I've rattled in WT and mulie bucks. Then again I have a nice mulie on the wall that responded to a bleat call and was just about been run over by WT looking for the source of the bleat.Mix it up but don't over do it.

Rattle has been magical for me the last 3 years.
Can't say the bleat has done anything, ever.
One buck came on a string a few years ago after one grunt in early Nov.

Less is more, in all cases.

Default grunt tube

Also shot a bull moose grunting for WT's ........more like self defense back when you could buy general tags.Took two rounds to convince him I wasn't a potential sparring partner.

I've always had good results with a doe bleat during the peak of the rut. I typically do not use the call until an animal has been spotted or otherwise located, at which point a doe bleat has been very effective for creating shot opportunities.

I don't really blind call, so maybe that's why our experiences vary, but I typically only carry one call and in November its a doe bleat.

Well I just lightly grunted in 5 different bucks in 1.5 hrs...also tickled the tines too....one buck got a sled ride home.
I will also rub the bushes and the ground with the antlers...make deer noises.
