Default Another good day on Gull

Had another great day on Gull. Two biggest of the day was partners 11 pounder. And then I got this fella. Did not see the flag on the tip up go off. Spooled me before I seen it. Pulled in 60 pounds of weeds along with the fish. Should not have landed it. But glad I did. This same spot has produced 40 fish the past two weekends

As you will see from this vid. Pulled out lots of weeds. He went down and tied to tangle up in them.

Great job bro, I caught 2 whitefish today, which brings my total whitefish to 16 this winter and 2 pike, that pike might have been the monster that took my hook today!

Did you use the Wilson beach enterence might have seen ur vehicle drive by me.?

Happy fishing!

How have you done on whites at this spot. And if you did catch whites, has it been consistent or just recently?

Reason I ask is just trying to figure out if there is any connection and timing of the jacks and whites.

Last year out of the same hole , caught 3 large pike then started to catch a limit of whites....the first of the season. After that time only caught whites And quite well.

just got back from fishing gull and sylvan......fished in 15 ftow both places, only used wire worm and maggots. hit gull first... 0 takers in 1 1/2 hours. shot over to sylvan. iced 7 whites in about 2 hours.... on the smallish side, but very plentiful..... all in all..... had a great time.
