Default TFH Annual Bulk Line Sale

Looks like it's half price bulk line again at TFH! Anyone else hitting that up for a new open water season?

When does the sale run until? I'm sure I have a reel or two that could use some new line

simple lakes around here i like to use cheap bulk Pline lol
flurocarbon coated so there is less stretch and i find it more invisible then braided.

I use a flourocarbon leader attached to my braided main line in many applications to give me a invisible presentation.

Trolling at higher speeds for Pike - I don't bother - it's braid to titanuim leader right to the lure.

I like braid as it's thinner than both mono and flouro and provides zero stretch, casts further, has no line memory and allows you to use a smaller (lighter) reel for the same amount of line length.

My ultra light is simple 6lb Trilene XL mono. It's probably the only reel I have that's "old school"

Any idea if this is last year's line that they're trying to get rid of or if it's this years.

For braid, etc. it doesn't matter but for the monofilament the year old stuff tends to be a bit stale and have memory from sitting on the spool.

Just curious to know before I head to the store.

Wholesale sports in Calgary spooled up a new reel and a new combo with 100 % flouro for free. Whatever test you choose . Although I usually run a braid with a flouro leader as well, its still good value.

Not trying to be a smart ass but you do realize fluorocarbon line and fluorocarbon leader material are quite a bit different.

You should not expect nearly the abrasion or cut resistance from regular fluoro as you would from specifically designed leader material.
