I have to admit I was surprised at how 'lifeless' this thing was coming out of the ice but I take the members on this board who vouched for this at their word.

You've also got to think that any guide who fakes something like this would be risking their business and reputation. That would be a ridiculous gamble for anyone to take, especially an already successful guide.

It's one hell of a fish though and I would be happy to pull one out a 1/3 that size.
