This is my 1st post and I thought I'd share some pics of a great day on the ice !
Inaugural break in of my Tempest 8" auger from Costco......ran great
Got a late start, but had half a dozen holes drilled by noon. Caught a nice rainbow on the first hole that I dropped a line into .....before the jig even hit the bottom !! Great start to a great day.
Shortly after a small whitefish and a few more bites without any landed.
Finally wrapped up the outing with a real nice bow
All fish were released to be enjoyed another day !!
