Default cleaning sap off of scope lens

Some how I managed to get sap on my objective lens of my trijicon scope, any ideas of how to get it off?

Olive oil takes sap off your hands really good, maybe try that, then a cleaner to get the oil off.

Years ago I toured the Redfield plant in Denver and they used rubbing alcohol to clean their lenses

Yeah isopropyl 95%+. A stubborn stain might require goo-gone. Use a microfiber cloth to apply it because you don't want to scratch your lens.

Lighter fluid works well on sap - not sure if it would affect your lens coatings though.

Keep a spray bottle around both shop areas.

De grease stuff like inside loading dies, rifle bolts etc...

Also scope and bino lens.
Eye glasses too.
