Something you don't see everyday
So I was walking out onto the lake and I saw what looked to be a leaf blowing across the snow. This leaf was unique though in that it did not blow with the wind and was scurrying around. Well I had my camera with me as always and the chase was one. This is the first mICE Fishing video I am aware of, haha!

Funny how a little critter when it gets defensive can stop a 200lbs man in his tracks!

Pretty neat how he could travel under the snow so quickly. I kept waiting for him to lunge for your throat when he was cornered. Glad you escaped injury, but a close up of him latched onto your nose would have been hilarious.
How was the fishing?

Haha... fishing was terrible. Drilled holes all over the place and only caught one perch. I marked 4 fish all day
Fished from 4 feet deep to 27 feet and I'm just puzzled where they are hiding. Sometime early season they're still in the weeds somewhere.

You are lucky that critter spared your life ....... he looked like he was trying to lure you in closer so he could jump on you and tear you up.
Careful out there ....

Yeah no kidding. I was surprised as well. Second thing I learned was they aren't as hard to catch in the snow as National Geographic makes it look. Those hawks and coyotes really aren't that impressive, haha!
