Some how I think that most people who hunt also fish.

But many people fish and do not hunt.

I hunt and fish and I used to trap a bit but have not in many years.

The poll is all questions. I reckon what you want is answers.

PS: I did this post before I "voted" and looked at the poll results.

I don't do any of it and not realy interested either, I just come on this board , because it is a Alberta forum, and there are a lot of interested discusions other than hunting, fising etc. I grew up on a Dairy farm and I 'am an outdoorsy kind of fella.

I am mainly a diehard Angler and ATV driver, though I do sometimes go grouse hunting in the fall.

I hunt and fish. I don't have a lot of spare time anymore because of kids, work, life, so the fishing is definitely been less the neglected over the last few years. I always make time for hunting though!

I hunt and fish. Do a little ice fishing but once the ice is off a fly rod becomes another appendage. As soon as a hunting season opens up then a bow or a firearm replaces the fly rod. I know I miss some good fishing in the fall but I'd rather hunt.

Pretty much the same story here these days.

Started off at the tender age of 4, 34 years ago hunting and snaring rabbits with my Dad. Took on my first trap string by myself at the age of 14 and run it until I was about 20. To this day, checking my wee line was hands down my most favourite outdoor experience.

The 'Shrubs' are older now, so fishing more is definately on this summer's agenda.

I hunt and fish but before I vote I wanna know if snaring rabbits counts as trappin'. I don't think that you'd make much off of the snare wire that I use though.

Awww, the heck with it..........I'm voting hunting and fishing.

i grew up doing an extensive amount of coyote/wolf trapping and alot of big game hunting, skinning coyotes in the garage at age 12, butchering meat for days after a big hunt. I also fished at that time, basically did it all growing up, but now at the age of 20 i find myself not interested in hunting, and more interested in fishing and guiding. I would much rather observe the animals mannerisms than blast it and cut it up.

Speaking of that, I have been fishing for about eight years now since I was a 9.

PS: I know this may be a bit off of topic but, ironically my first fish caught was caught outdside of Alberta and was a salt water rockfish caught off the dock of Port Hardy BC.
