Default A cow moose to remember!!!

Well yesterday morning I woke up at 4 am . Took a quick look at the weather and decided to head out to the hunting grounds. The weather had been playing with my hunting plans so I was happy to see the sun would make an appearance and no wind. Arrived 5 minutes before legal light had my gear on and was headed to my blind. Exactly 10 minutes later I had the cow moose I have been targeting tagged . She was bedded 200 yards away on the side of a hill in a small clearing. It took 2 to the boiler room from my.300wsm to fold her up but overall a easy recovery with the help of my dad and his buddy. This cow has not had a calf for the last 2 years and I had been doing my homework on her habits. She is by far the largest moose body wise I have ever harvested. 20181107_080024.jpg20181107_093026.jpg

Good for you for harvesting a dry cow and practicing such strong management practices... What an amazing experience, congratulations!
