Hunterguy...I think you would be a lot happier on a different site so please spend some time finding it.

Cat...Happy birthday and congratulations on your hunt. I turn 64 today (Monday) but my back and my knees would not let me do what you have done. I hope you enjoy your results.

It was a rough weekend for sure but I will keep hunting as long as I can get out of bed!
Sadly many of us can’t even at ages younger than you and I but that is a fact of life and we will all be there some day .

Happy birthday. I see that the Mods just gave you a present.

That fella might have more time for hunting now.

A buck and a calf moose would be the perfect amount of meat for me and the Frau.

You could have never known but meat pie is one of my favourites. You're making me hungry. It's amazing how a simple crust can fancy it up so much. When I make them I like to freeze one for next season. They really warm you up after a day hunting in cold weather.

Thanks!
The geese were driving us crazy all weekend, my buddy hadn't seen any in the fields we have permissions on , until this weekend .
We probably passed by 10,000 geese in four days!
BTW, the discount is for 65 years old is it not? I have another year yet!

Congratulations on a great hunt, nothing beats a nice full freezer at the end of a hunt.

I tried working once... It was very stressful and highly over rated. Fishing and hunting is much more relaxing!

I've been thinking about this thread for a bit so I better post before I forget.

HunterDave...Thank you for your best wishes, but I take no joy in some one elses misfortune.

Cat...I am glad you are still able to get out. My regular friends and hunting companions have gone now and the rest of the crowd isn't in much better shape than I am. I did get my bird license and I can still carry a sharptail or a goose back. Life is good.
