What are these bushes

Are these bushes called willows (not the spruce trees). Will moose browse these areas.

Given they are in a black spruce bog it is most likely bog birch or willows both are browsed by moose. Tough to tell at a distance though.

Take a look at them and you will see if they have been chewed down.Also Moose leave lots of scat in an around the feeding area.

Send a close up for ID though.

I have a moose tag and have 12 days left to fill. Yesterday we watched two of these bogs as they looked like moose area to us but we didnt see anything at first or last light. During the day we scouted around where my game cameras are didnt cut any tracks in the fresh snow. Moose seem to be on yhe camera every third or fourth day but having hard time locating them. I was close on the 2nd take look at the time stamp

Nice looking moose country, and a great looking spot. Try calling, wait at least 2 hrs, seen lots of bulls fighting in November still.
