Question Best GPS for under $500?

Hey everyone, im looking for GPS under $500 for a Christmas gift. Not sure what specific functions I am looking for but ease of use is a plus. I do some back country hunting so something with decent maps and able to mark certain locations.

If anyone has some suggestions on what to look for (brands, functions, etc), that would also be appreciated.

TIA!

But seriously for a gps unit Garmin is the best gps map 66s is the newest model it’s $525 and has free satellite imagery for download. But you can also download the free ibicus topo maps.run on aa battery’s and work well in cold weather. This 66s has the best antenna for a garmin gps.

the cellphone in your pocket and your pick of a gps app. I use hunter for the cashing of the satellite images and use a topo app for the top maps great combo when you want to look and saw how far ahead that clearing is or where is the nearest water hole.

Default Best GPS for under $500?

For any of you guys looking for a hell of a deal on a gps there’s a Garmin Montana 650 for sale in Edmonton on Kijiji right now for 400$. If I wasn’t so far away I’d go grab it.
