Default Just Moved Here Looking for Fishing Hole
I just got here two weeks ago and my fishing gear arrived this week. I don't have a boat anymore. Can anyone suggest a place where I can go fishing if I don't have a boat. I live on Whyte Avenue in Edmonton but would be willing to drive a little bit. The only type of gear I don't have is a fly rod.

Any help would be appreciated.

lots of nice lakes around edmonton for shore fishing when you get to edmonton give me a pm theres a group of us on here that get together and go most every weekend, new blood is allways welcome plus bigbadjons shore lunchs are worth the trip alone.

pm is short for private message if you look at the top left of the forum you will see user cp click that scroll down tell you see send new message click that then follow the promps.... your here now well in that case me and bigbadjohn might be heading out to coal tonight around 5-6 pm if you interrested. to land some pike.... kevin

Depends what you wanna fish for . If your into trout you dont wanna fish with me ,We tend to fish for the fish with teeth , mainly pike and walleye , Im apart of a pretty large group of guys who fish with us weekly , actually were headed on a fishing trip tommorow , so if you like to fish shoot the bull and have a great time and good shore lunches PM ME . I reasently recruted Redneck posse to our group.

sorry forgot to ask what you like to fish for? i'll fish for anything that swims. cann't chatch most of it but allways ready to try.

Well I wish i was part of the possee and lived about 3 hours north. Oh well still cant wait to hook up with you on the July long BBJ. Have a good week fishing and tight lines to the whole possee.

just watch for the coal lake thread anyone is invited to come along probly going to be out at coal next weekend come on out
