No brookies at all, can't say if I really noticed any signs of cutthroat in them.

Jumpingpound is definitely on my bucket list! Along with about 50 other places I won't get around to this year...

Photobucket

Caught this beauty on Saturday on a trib near jumping pound. Most were cutbows, thinking this might be the mother of some of them. Lots of little brookies.

sorry I just get really excited when I can't find my way around, went for a walk the other day and got confused. Could not find the truck, waited a good 20 minutes then I ate my dog. Took me another 10 minutes to find the truck. The town cop gave me a ticket for lighting a fire in town limits. Gonna miss that dog though.

Recent court case in Cochrane dealing with a couple guys "trespassing" while accessing Jumping Pound creek.

If you're fishing the farmland, be careful; there are some landowners with very tight underwear...

a phone call or knock on the door can solve this issue quiet easily.

That depends on the landowner and what the original title to the land says.

Ya I know there are some touchy spots we have spoken to the landowner here and he is ok with us fishing there.

I think there are only two spots in the prov where the landowners own rights to the creek bed. One of those is the jumping pound close to Cochrane and the other is somewhere on the crows nest.
