Default Burbot depth lac sante

Hi! My friend and I are thinking of going to lac sante this weekend, and I'm wondering. What depth is it best to fish for the burbs there? It's a pretty deep lake from what I hear,, so should we be setting up in the 50ft range, or do they come to the 10ft shallows during the day? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I used to catch them fishing lake trout in 100’, in mid winter before spawn. I would try deep during daylight.

I have always fished for burbs in about 10 feet of water just off the bottom. Any time I fish for burbs its about an hour after dusk.

Good luck.

Had great success in 20-30 ft of water. Most of the action came after 3pm.
