Default Utikuma Lake Access

Hey everyone. I am hoping someone has info on the access at Utikuma lake. Is the lake accessible with a pickup or do I need to take the atv?
Thanks.

We went up to Utik last weekend from the km 80 turn off on Hwy 88 - it was a disaster. The snow is SO deep. We didn't make it to the island with the trucks, just really hard to get anywhere. I don't think a quad would be a better choice either....

Yikes. I figured it would be deep but hoping it was busy enough that it was passable. Same thing happened to me last year. We got out to the island with the pickup without too much trouble but the weather was warm and it started to thaw and we had a hell of a time getting out again. Took a few hours of digging.

Thanks for the update. If the atv doesn’t get there I will take the snowshoes lol.
