Default snaring

does anyone know what the appropriate length a snare needs to be when using a senneker kill snare in a non entanglement set. I live in the prairie were there are no trees.

Thumbs up Set it up!!!

Set sticks into ground and set snare up and put some brush just to hide sticks from being exposed, cant be that bad.

I built these for stakes I outta 12" spikes. Welded a link onto them to attach the support to, and the end of the snare to the end of the chain. With the 10 ft snare they are unable to pull up, only sideways. And I'm sorry, I've only used the old version of his kill springs, not the new ones but I never had any troubles with this setup. It actually amazed me that you could hang a snare in the wide open and be successful.
