Default How to Find Trout Under Ice Slaying Brookies

Catching trout during the ice season quite often comes down to putting your hole in the right location. In this video I talk a lot about you can increase your odds out on the Ice by finding those key areas where trout with concentrate. If you focus your efforts in high volume areas you are more likely to have better success out on the ice. In this video I also catch my personal best brook trout at 20 1/4" and weighed over four pounds. Of course my lure of choice was a 1/8th oz gold and glow Slender spoon by Custom Jigs and spins. Hope you enjoy the video. Also a great clip from the underwater world to show you just how many fish can be down there sometimes.

Warning this is from a BC outing but similar techniques apply to fishing in AB.
