Opti-2 2Cycle Oil For Ice Augers
How many of you use Opti=2 in your augers? What brand of auger and for how long?

Opti 2
I use it in all my 2 strokes except my snow mobile. And I've been using it for 7 or 8 years, probably more actually. My auger is a 30ish year old Eskimo.
Otto.

I would have to guess 10 - 15 years or maybe more for me. My old Jiffy 30 since brand new and our Eskimo 51 since new since 5 or 6 years ago. I also run my Stihl Backpack blower, Husky chainsaw, weed wacker all off the same mix and jug of gas. Also use non ethanol premium gas. In my case Shell premium with Opti works great and never an issue with any of my toys. My Father in law has used it for longer than me and was the one that got me on to the stuff.

We run it in most of our 2-strokes, if not all. Chainsaws (husky and stihl), whipper snipper(stihl), augers (jiffy)never had an issue. However I do mix a bit richer than their suggested ratio.

Jiffy-cant remember model but it has a 10" auger. Bought it new with a buddy for our birthday gift back maybe 20-23 years ago. Been using Opti -2 oil since new.
Never misses a beat still to this day

Have been using it in my Husqvarna auger for the last twenty years with no problems.

Sounds pretty lonely for you for what you say. The rest of us have been happy users for many years and for many more.

That’s a plan that’ll likely end in disappointment. Depending on application (load) you should adjust that ratio.

Did you personally mix the fuel for the life of the saws? At what ratio was it mixed?

x2 - this is as per Opti2 oil . Great to mix, no measuring if you buy the small little packages, ready to go .
I use to run this same mix in my Stihl chainsaws. Now I just buy the Stihl Pre-mix 1L fuel containers. Yes its on the pricey side but this way not a lot of fuel sitting that may be wasted. Plus the containers are easy to pack when you have limited space and last 2 years from the time the seal has been opened.
