Default Fishing near Battleford Sask.?

I am heading out to battleford Sask. in a couple weeks and wondering if there is any good fishing close by. Just want to know if i should pack the rod or not, will only have a few hours to go, so the closer the better.

Cheers,
Alex

Default battleford fishing

tons of fishing in the battleford area.
pretty much need a boat though.

within 1 hour.
murray lake - cochin
jackfish lake - cochin
meeting lake - awesome for percha and walleye, near Rabbit Lake.
Little Loon - near Glaslyn - loaded with Walleye
Of course the north SK runs through town.

Forest belt starts at Glaslyn
North of there you have 1000s of lakes to choose from.
