Brownlows is CRAZY busy. We had our shack out there last winter. Was out at Gull last night again trying to find a different spot for our shack. Have found some good spots, it,s a big lake. Good luck.

Thats better than ive done in five yrs . Lol. get away from the crowds lots open area every year and whites are every where, just tricky to catch . This year will be different thanks to a helping hand from a couple of kind members and thier tutelage given. If by mid season your still in tough give me a pm ill help do some exploring.

Id personaly go out with a chair a camera and a handline and search hard for perch and once i found a spot with lots id set up there cuz in my experience if theres perch theres pike and walleye and burbot and whites close by good luck or hit it up with a boat as well and find some good healthy cabbage weeds close to a drop off and remember it good luck on your search

I would set up on Gull, Brownlows area in about the 12fow. Fish for the whites about 6 ft down. The perch will be on the bottom. Saw lots last year caught a few and lost one that was pushing the 5 lb mark. Fought it for a few mins on 4lb test line and then the hook came out of the mouth. Had all my best luck for whites there.
