Default 2 old has -beens that never were(whitefish)

Sooo... Your thoughts on a good day ?
Took 6 hrs on the ice although it should have been 3 hrs
The bad part is the brutal hits to fish caught ratio
Saw well over 100 had over 60-70 hits and between us ,2 old washed up has-beens that never were caught 20
Anyone else seem to have this problem ? Or any solutions ?
Copper and red bead wire worm with 1 maggot,4 fow
Slow vertical free fall from top of water column to half way down
Less is more !!!

We saw a few whites today, we were hunting for perch in shallow water drilled a hole and stuck camera down and was surprised to see half a dozen whites having a nap. Set up and saw a few more but couldn't get any to bite.

Just remember any day fishing is a good day and any day catching is a great day lol.
