Default Where to take the little ones around

I am trying to find somewhere near Olds that i can take the little ones (4 and 5). Is there anywhere closer than Chestersloo that the fish will bite enough to keep them interested, or should I just give in and drive them out there? I know I can least get them into pike, but I would like to find some trout, perch, or anything but pike. Don't get me wrong, I like pike, just like something different. Any help is much appreciated! I am a newcomer to the Olds area, and have been checking google and what not, but not finding a whole lot around....

When it comes to getting the little ones on fish I am sure you are going to get more then enough information from the fellas on here. And I would be into coming up that way if it gets worked out.
