Where are you located? If you are close to Red Deer, you are welcome to tag along w/me once the ice is safe.

I wouldn't spend a lot of money right off the bat. Figure out what you enjoy based on species, mobility and location and then buy to suit your choice.

All depends on your style, I fish with my girlfriend so we need options good day we fish in a tent together, so I have the Eskimo quick flip its a tent and sled built together. Love it but its heavy, if we're walking in I have the pop up tent works great except in wind but super light and small. A day I am sick of her we have individual tents great for mobility and peace and quiet.

Sorry must have been a typo , pêcheur is masculine, it would be le pêcheur. If I were a woman i t would be pêcheuse, la pêcheuse- a fisherwoman thanks for correcting me
