Default Where to perch fish west of Edmonton?

Haven't fished for years, want to take my 8 year old daughter out and help her to catch a perch, where to go these days? What to use? Pm Me if you have fear of her catching the whole lake out, I'm guessing she would be happy with 2 or 3... Thanks guys. Maybe I can return the favour to you by hooking up at the gun range if you want to go shooting one afternoon......

West? You could take her to Lessard Lake. They won't be monsters but I don't think that's what you're after. Head out on the boat launch on the east side of the lake. Go past the weed till the main lake kinda opens up and fish on the right side. Somewhere between 8-10'. Drill a few holes and put down a small hook. Get some tungsten jigs from the fishin hole.

I hope she enjoys it.

Good luck

Doesn't Morinville trout pond have a pile of small perch? Be nice and close so you're not driving half the day.
